Peter Hamilton Dyer
Peter has been a professional actor for over thirty years appearing in more than twenty productions for Shakespeare's Globe, including the West End and Broadway award-winning productions of Twelfth Night and Richard III. He has worked numerous times for the RSC, touring the UK with A Midsummer Night's Dream and appearing as Can Dundar in #WeAreArrested in Stratford and London. Peter has worked for Rep theatres across the UK, including Manchester Royal Exchange, Sheffield Crucible, Chichester, Leicester, and Regent's Park . Television and film include Downton Abbey, Wolf Hall, Doctor Who, Silent Witness, Upstart Crow, Eastenders, and The Nest. Radio credits include R4's Book of the Week, and a residency with the BBC Radio Rep. Peter also teaches LAMDA, and is a member of Shakespeare's Globe Higher Education Faculty. |
Keith McGowan
Keith graduated in music and Russian at The University of Nottingham and The Leningrad Institute of Theatre, Music and Cinematography; while studying there he became fascinated by early wind music. His association with Shakespeare's Globe began in the opening season as a musician in Henry V. As well as playing, Keith has since directed music at the Globe on a number of productions and has toured with them to Japan and the USA. He directs his own Shawm ensemble and is a visiting Professor of Renaissance wind at the Royal Academy of Music. Keith has conducted research into the history and techniques of ceremonial wind music and plays shawm, cornett, sackbut, renaissance flute and curtal. |
